March 2008 Update

Valley Oak Charter School Effort Continues
Supporters Help Still Needed

Despite being turned down by the Davis Joint Unified School District Board on Thursday, February 7, 2008, the supporters have not given up the fight. They have appealed to the Yolo County Office of Education.

The Valley Oak Charter needs YOU!  They need you to go to the meeting, send letters and e-mail, and leave voicemails for the County Board of Education.  Let them know that there is still the support for the VO Charter.

As stated on the Davis Vanguard:

The public has a number of different means by which to comment. One of course would be to show up at the meeting on March 6, 2008.

However, the public may also leave a voicemail message of up to five minutes in length at: (530) 668-3751.

They may also email the county at: vocscomments@ycoe.org

Valley Oak supporters are urging the public to send an email or a voice message to one of those two sources.
